Except from the podcast description:

“In this episode, Pete speaks with Dr Louise Metcalf from Gheorg. Pete and Louise explore the increasing prevalence of anxiety in society, ways to be more mindful of mental health as well as technology use. They also discuss how we as a society can help kids learn, improve their emotional intelligence, and feel better about themselves.

Meet Dr Louise Metcalf

Dr Louise Metcalf is the founder of Georg. She is a psychologist and has been for almost thirty years; it’s a job she enjoys doing every day. Louise is passionate about mental health and empowering people, especially kids, to improve their emotional resilience and mental wellbeing.

Interestingly, she didn’t mean to become a psychologist. Louise lucked into university, as she described it, and had no idea what she wanted to study. She picked subjects at random, and one of them just happened to be psychology. From the first lecture Louise attended in psychology, she knew this was what she wanted to study.“
